On June 1-3, 2023, the head of the Department of International Economic Relations Yuriy Petrushenko took part in the international academy on ALE-advocacy (advocacy policy of lifelong education). The event took place in Sarajevo and was organized by the DVV International office in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the European Adult Education Association (EAEA) and the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE). The event was attended by 30 representatives from six countries – Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova and Ukraine.
Professor Yuriy Petrushenko heads the Adult Education Center “Education for Life” at Sumy State University, and is also a member of the working group on advocacy of the draft law “On Adult Education”.
