Scientists of Sumy State University together with colleagues from Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow (Poland) received a grant from NATO as part of the Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Program project.

The program will be implemented during 2023 in the form of ASI (Advanced Study Institute) – a short 7-10 day course from expert teachers for young scientists. The priority areas and topics of the program are related to security issues.

As part of the grant agreement, the educational program “Security of territorial communities: evidence from the Eastern European countries” will be prepared and implemented, which includes the following modules:

  1. Development of territorial communities.
  2. Territorial communities in the system of regional security.
  3. The role of TRO in ensuring territorial security.
  4. Energy and environmental security of territorial communities.
  5. Economic and financial security of territorial communities.
  6. Social and humanitarian security of territorial communities.

 

The amount of the grant is 44,000 euros.
