On June 6-8, 2023, the head of the Department of International Economic Relations Yuriy Petrushenko took part in the conference of the European Association of Adult Education, which took place in Zagreb (Croatia). At the conference, he represented the Adult Education Center “Education for Life”, which works at Sumy State University, as well as the Ukrainian Association of Adult Education.
Many issues related to the development of the lifelong education system in the European Union and candidate countries for membership were discussed at the conference. A number of joint events of Ukrainian and European experts in the field of adult education were planned. Assistance and cooperation with Ukrainian colleagues engaged in adult education is one of the priorities of the European Adult Education Association for 2023.
