The Department of Banking continues the realization of the project “Academy to high school pupils” launched in 2011, which involves close cooperation with the leading gymnasiums of the Sumy region.
On 18 April 2014 lecturer of the Banking Department O. Kruhmal visited the gymnasium in the town of Konotop. This meeting was devoted to the history of the Ukrainian currency and its security features. During the lecture pupils were acquainted with the history of money and the history of the national currency of Ukraine, learned a lot of interesting facts about money.
In addition, the Academy’s representative identified the areas of pupils’ research activities and defined the methodical assistance to the gymnasium’s staff in the organization of scientific activity in the fields of economics, philology and history.
