March 12, professor, Doctor of Economics, Ihor Basantsov met with the Consul of the Embassy of Palestine in Ukraine – Head of the Department for Culture and Education Davud Jallud to discuss further cooperation between the Embassy of Palestine in Ukraine and Sumy State University.
“Today, the rules for recognizing diplomas of education abroad have been changed in Palestine, as well as the list of accredited universities and institutes has been significantly expanded, and the conditions for applicants have also changed. We are interested not only in scientific and academic exchanges, but also in cultural ones, ”said Mr. Consul.
During the meeting, it was noted, that Palestine is interested in teaching students at Ukrainian universities, and in particular at SumDU. Ihor Bvsantsov told the member of the Embassy about the new educational opportunities of the newly created educational and scientific institute of Business, Economics and Management and invited students to study in SumDU.
Since 2017, Basantsov takes an active part in various events and projects carried out by the Embassy of Palestine in Ukraine to organize the recruitment and training of Palestinian students at Sumy State University.
It was noted, that an important task remains the implementation of economic analysis in the preparation of various joint Ukrainian-Palestinian business forums.
Based on the results of the work for 2020, the Embassy of Palestine in Ukraine prepared and sent a letter of gratitude to the rector of the Sumy State University.
