On the 24th of October, 2014 holders of Master’s degree of the Department of Finance – Ya. Volosovets, A. Karpenko, M. Kononenko, T. Lytvynenko and M. Rosina together with Associate Professor of the Department of Finance V. Plastun took part in the opening of the V International students” competition on investment researches “CFA Institute Research Challenge in Ukraine”.
The aim of this competition is to come near the modern education to the practice of investment business. CFA Institute Research Challenge is the most prestigious students” competition on investment researches in the world. In the framework of the meeting there were held meetings with representatives of the CFA Society Ukraine, who told about peculiarities of career construction in the finance and investment sphere, importance of professional certification such specialists etc.
Our team will cooperate together with D Tykhonov, Deputy Director on investments of the finance company “Fintime” (Kyiv). Further two months our students will work at the report of the highest quality because the winner of the Ukrainian tournament will participate in the final, which will be held in Amsterdam.
