Every year the Department of Finance and Entrepreneurship expands its borders in the direction of international activities. This year, even quarantine did not hinder the introduction of successful academic mobility of our students.
This week Oleksandra Tverezovska, a first-year master’s student majoring in Finance and Business Audit, Department of Finance and Entrepreneurship, won a grant to receive a Latvian state scholarship in accordance with the decision of the State Education Development Agency of Latvia (hereinafter – the Agency).
Oleksandra applied within the announced program “Scholarships of the Latvian Government”, under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department Finance and Entrepreneurship in International Affairs, Ph.D. Humenna Yu.G.
In accordance with the requirements of the program, it was necessary to prepare and send a certain package of documents, as well as to receive an invitation letter from the Universities in Latvia. After the completion of this documentary phase, the process of reviewing and evaluating all applications directly by the Agency took place for more than two months. In order for the Agency to support the application and decide on a scholarship, the application had to meet the criteria of administrative management and quality. As a result of the evaluation, the Agency decided that our student’s application met all the necessary requirements, and therefore O. Tverezovska was awarded a scholarship from the Latvian government to study for one semester of 2020-2021. in one of the largest universities in Latvia – the University of Latvia (Riga, Latvia). Oleksandra will be studying as a student at the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics in the master’s program “International Business”.
