Assistant Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages NNI BAT “UABS” Lyashenko Iryna Volodymyrivna represented Sumy and Sumy Oblast at a four-day CES Training Course from the Association of English Teachers TESOL Ukraine with the support of the Regional Office for English Teaching of the US Embassy in Ukraine at the National Institute for Teacher Training , which took place in Odessa on June 25-28, 2018.
Participation in the program helped to explore various teaching methods for developing students’ critical thinking. The unforgettable workshops of English language speakers and teachers from the US Embassy’s Department of Education and TEFL teachers and trainers were about building vocabulary and speech in teaching English, using tools for teaching for the development of thinking skills. Valuable were practical training in teaching in multilevel groups and on the topics of business education, healthy life, community development.
