On April 28, 2014 the Scientific Library of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking hosted an important event – the opening of the training call-center, where the future bankers will be acquiring practical skills. The center is equipped with ten computers and telephones, posters with practical advices and book-shelves.
The opening of the call-center is a joint initiative of the Department of Banking and the joint-stock company “UkrSibbank”, which are implementing the project “The first steps in the profession”. The bank’s employees conduct trainings with students passing their knowledge. With the call-center this cooperation takes on a new format: together with bank employees, students can gain practical experience during telephone communications with potential customers of “UkrSibbank” and other banks. Students will be conducting calls under the supervision of bank professionals.
