The Ukrainian Academy of Banking has won in the program “Support democracy in Ukraine – 2016” of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Associate Professor of the Department of Banking Larysa Sysoyeva during her scientific training in Germany (06.20.2015 – 07.19.2015) filed an application for the competition in the framework of the DAAD program “Support for democracy in Ukraine”. The Academy’s partner in the project will be the Technical University of Freiberg.
In late November the executive committee of the DAAD made a decision to support the joint project “Development of dialogue between banks and civil society in the context of democratic processes in Ukraine”. The project will include seminars, workshops, conferences in Ukraine and Germany for lecturers and students. The expected results: preparation of scientific papers and exchange of methodical groundwork. The amount of grant funding: 28 800 euros.
