The Academy received the honorary delegation from Celle (Germany)

A Center for Social and Economic Research and Academic Mobility (ARMG) of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking is actively working with the German partner foundations and institutions in the preparation and implementation of joint projects in Ukraine and in Sumy. The visit of the official delegation from the town of Celle (Germany) became one more opportunity to establish new contacts and discuss future projects.

The meeting was attended by:

• Dirk-Ulrich Mende, the mayor of Celle;
• Inga Marks, Deputy of the Social Democratic Party in Celle;
• Hannelore Fudeus, Deputy of the Social Democratic Party in Celle;
• Ludmilla Henning, employee of the administration of Celle;
• Tetyana Vasilyeva, Ph.D., professor, director of the ARMG Center, Head of the Department of Banking;
• Serhiy Khvostov, Head of the Department of International Activities;
• Yuri Petrushenko, Ph.D., associate professor, head of the Department of International Economics;
• Dmitro Lukin, Ph.D., assistant professor of the Department of Banking;
• Laryssa Sysoieva, Ph.D., assistant professor of the Department of Banking;
• Olha Dashkina, a teacher of German, head of German projects at the Sumy gymnasium №1.

During the meeting the participants discussed the issues of cooperation with the German Academy of Management of Lower Saxony (Deutsche Management Akademie Niedersachsen) that is located in Celle, forms and methods of work with refugees and immigrants in Germany, the creation of a “Center of German-Ukrainian Partnership” at the Ukrainian Academy of Banking, the development of joint German-Ukrainian projects with the NGO “Council of Young Scientists”, NGO “Center for Academic Research, Mobility and Growth”.
