The idea of the project “Creation of a school of beginning entrepreneurs for students and business start-ups” was included in the Regional Development Strategy of the Sumy region for the period till 2020 in the area titled “Human Capital Development”.
As part of the preparation by the Sumy Regional Council of a plan to implement the Strategy of Regional Development with the support of the European Union “Support of Regional Development Policy in Ukraine” a competitive selection of projects was announced that will help achieve these goals and objectives.
As part of the creation of a business incubator as a structure for providing the conditions for students to realize their original economic projects, the Academy’s lecturers have come forward with the idea of “Creation of a school of beginning entrepreneurs for students and business start-ups” submitting this proposal for inclusion into the Plan of the Regional Development Strategy of the Sumy region in the period till 2020.
The project provides for the establishment of the School of beginning entrepreneurs, the program of which is focused on mastering the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, participants assessment of their own business skills, acquisition of practical skills to analyze a business idea and business plan, interaction with various partner organizations (banks, tax authorities, advertising agencies, pension fund, employment agency, etc.).
