Parting words to students before their trip to the Czech Republic

On May 22, 2014 the premises of the Academy’s administration became the venue for the meeting with the delegation of the best senior students of the Department of Finance and the Associate Professor L. Ryabushka before their trip to the Czech Republic for participation in the VI International seminar “Peculiarities of financial and credit institutions of the Czech Republic”.

The meeting was opened by the Acting rector of the Academy, Professor Serhiy Kozmenko.

As you know, the Academy works closely with more than 40 institutions of higher education abroad. Due to the support of the National Bank of Ukraine our students have an opportunity to undergo practical training in different countries. For example, for more than 10 years they have been gaining practical skills at the University of Applied Sciences of the Deutsche Bundesbank (Hachenburg , Germany). They travel to Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden and other countries. Particularly good relations have developed with the Banking Institute in Prague. This collaboration goes back to 2008. It was launched as an initiative of the Head of the Department of Finance and Economics of the Banking Institute Professor Frantisek Pavelka. The Academy has conferred upon him the title of Honorary Professor of the State higher educational institution “Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine” for outstanding contribution to the development of international cooperation of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine, implementation of educational programs, assistance in organization of practical training of the Academy’s students in banking and financial institutions of the Czech Republic, personal contribution to the integration of the Academy into the international educational environment.
