September, 12, 2016 students and lecturers from Balatsky ASI FEM together with students and lecturers from other faculties and representatives of IT and other companies in Sumy took a course in “Introduction to Data Science, Business Analytics, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence” Aleksandr Romanko (Canada) and were given certificates.
Aleksandr Romanko, who earlier studied on faculties ELIT and FEM at SSU, now is – Ph.D, Senior researches on Risk Analytics, Business Analytics in IBM Canada, and Professor (in addition to his main duties) at University of Toronto. He specializes in risk-analytics, business-analytics, financial risk-management and information technologies. He is author of more than 20 articles in International scientific journals and co-author of several books. He is a founder of Cluster of Infromational technologies in Sumy.
Generally, about 250 participants visited course in Sumy.
