A new project has been launched at SumDU in cooperation with Bingham University (Nigeria). On Saturday, February 13th, 2021 – the official opening and start of classes in the online format of the international e-course “Cybersecurity Economics” for students of economic degree program of Bingham University (Nigeria).
The team of lecturers and developers of the course is represented by three departments of ARI BiEM: Department of Economic Cybernetics, Department of Banking and Insurance and Department of Finance and Entrepreneurship. Project Coordinator – Tetyana Mayboroda, Deputy Director of ARI BiEM for coordination of cooperation with foreign institutions and for work with foreign students. On behalf of Bingham University, the project is coordinated by Abayomi Awujola, Dean of the Faculty of Economics. Number of participants – 34 students, course duration – 4 weeks with content of 8 modules.
The first organizational meeting was attended by: the head of the Department of Economic Cybernetics Olga Kuzmenko, as well as lecturers of the course: Elena Pakhnenko, Victoria Bozhenko, Serhii Mynenko, Konstiantyn Hrytsenko, Inna Tiutiunnyk and Iryna Didenko. Warm words and welcome remarks, smiles and setting up to profound and fruitful work – the project has begun!
For reference: the cooperation with Bingham University has been going on since May 2019 and during this period the universities have already implemented a number of successful cooperation projects.
