On April 24 members of the International Centre for Banking and Corporate Governance of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking led by Professor Alexander Kostiuk held another international online seminar. This time, besides the Academy’s lecturers, participating in the seminar were representatives of three other countries – Sweden (Linnaeus University), Belgium (KU Leuven University) and Belarus (Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus).
This time the subject of debates and discussions was the issue of corporate governance in the companies with family ownership, especially the remuneration of top management of these companies.
During the seminar scientists agreed to continue this practice in the future interactions and discussed the opportunities to study the peculiarities of family-owned banks.
Members of the International Centre for Banking and Corporate Governance of the Academy will continue to work to consolidate scientific cooperation with foreign colleagues by conducting online research seminars. In particular, preliminary negotiations are held with colleagues from the American University of Dubai.
