29th of February is the International Rare Disease Day.
European Organisation for Rare Diseases established this day in 2008 to raise awareness for unknown or overlooked illnesses. The symbol of this day is the zebra ribbon. According to the World Health Organization, there are around 400 million carriers of the orphan diseases and half of them are children. The students of Sumy State University organized the photo session and made a social video to support the carriers of the orphan disease. The event involved 10 students at the University.
