FEM teacher joined project to develop an online course on sustainable development for public servants

On Thursday, September 12, Associate Professor of Management Department, Deputy Director of the Institute Denys Smolenikov participated in the first stakeholder meeting to develop an online course on sustainable development for public servants. Representatives of executive authorities, local governments, teachers from leading higher education institutions of Ukraine joined the event. A joint effort has been made to develop work programs for future online courses at three levels – national, regional and local.
The United Nations Development Program’s Online Learning on Sustainable Development project aims to improve public officials’ access to education on the Sustainable Development Goals, raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030, and implement it at national, regional and local levels. The project is being implemented by UNDP with the financial support of the German Government through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
