On the 17th of February the first stage of the «School of the future leaders» was held for pupils of 9-11 grades by the department of management of the Educational and Scientific Institute of FEM of Oleg Balatsky, together with the Office of Education and Science of the Sumy City Council.
Pupils actively worked in the training program «Manager in the 21st Century: My Team and Me», which included lecture-discussion and trainings in the sections «Management» and «Public Management and Administration». Representatives from 14 schools of Sumy and 2 schools of Sumy District took part in the «School of the Future Leaders». 82 participants was registered.
Pupils have demonstrated the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the manager’s profession. Pupils have gained the skills of working in the team and establishing effective interpersonal interaction in solving professional problems. New ideas were generated, tasks were solved creatively.
All participants received positive emotions and impressions from teamwork and communication. The schoolchildren were extremely active and have already shown interest in the profession of manager.
