For all interested in green and smart solutions for cities, there is an opportunity to take the online training at The SmartEnCity Academy for Zero Carbon Transition.

SmartEnCity is a joint project of 37 partners from 6 EU countries that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and introduce smart solutions for the diffusion of renewable energy sources in cities and communities. The SmartEnCity project (2016-2021) is funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program, and it is one of 17 active EU smart cities projects.

During the training process, there is an opportunity to get acquainted with the methodologies and best practices of decarbonization that are used in such cities as Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), Tartu (Estonia), Sonderborg (Denmark), Asenovgrad (Bulgaria). In 2020, more than 250 participants studied at SmartEnCity Academy. Svitlana Kolosok, an associate professor of Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management, Sumy State University, also received a in the Academy.
