19.10.2020 Doctor of Economics, Leonid Melnyk, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, SumSU; Director of the Research Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education & Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine gave an interview to Lyudmila Sova, participant of the International Public Movement “ALLATRA” “Creative Society”.
In particular, the scientist was asked how the topic of Jean Monnet’s EU research grant, which he recently received for the university’s teaching staff, relates to the activities of the Neplyuyev’s Brotherhood, to which the professor previously dedicated his book. L. Melnyk gave a detailed answer to this.
The theme of the Jean Monnet grant is related to research on the problems of the fourth and fifth industrial revolutions (Industries 4.0; 5.0). As it’s known, the fourth industrial revolution is aimed at the formation of cyberphysical systems and total automation of processes occurring in society. The fifth industrial revolution is aimed at the personalization of human, that is, his/her personal creative development in a cyber society.
Unsurprisingly, more than a hundred years ago, the Neplyuyev’s Brotherhood achieved unique successes in combining human health, creativity and personality development – exactly what the fifth industrial revolution is aimed at. In particular, the basic income and the priority of personality development over economic successes were introduced.
It should be noted that the principles of existence and development of the Brotherhood largely correspond to the goals set by the International Public Movement “ALLATRA” “Creative Society”, namely: human life and security; freedom; transparency and openness of information for all; creative ideology; personality development, justice and equality; community self-government.
Today, as the world experiences a phase transition to a new socio-economic formation, it is extremely important to disseminate information about the challenges facing humanity, as well as possible ways to solve future problems.
