On April 26-28, 2017, the II round of the Ukrainian Olympiad for students of higher educational institutions of III-IV accreditation levels in the science “Regional Economy” was held at the State Higher Educational Institution “Vadim Getman Kiev National Economic University”.
Student of O. Balatsky ASI FEM Diana Vodotyka (head – Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Economic Theory Department Domashenko M.D.) won and was awarded with the third degree diploma.
Head of the Economic Theory Department, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Prokopenko O.V. took part as a member of the Olympiad jury.
Students were awarded with diplomas, received books and commemorative coins of a special issue of the National Bank with a nominal value of 5 UAH. They visited the Museum of Money (National Bank of Ukraine).
In addition to the Olympiad, on April 27, 2017, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Regional Development of Ukraine: Problems and Prospects” was held, where topical issues of the Ukrainian economic development, strategies and measures to solve modern problems, were discussed.
