April 22-23 within the Youth Business Forum was held Spring Business School.
The event was attended by over 100 people: scholars, students of the proffesional liceums, college students and students of universities from such cities as: Sumy, Poltava, Romny, Glukhiv, Okhtyrka and small and medium businesses of Sumy.
The event consisted of three main parts:
1. Lecture on social entrepreneurship and startups. Three invited speakers from Odessa and Kyiv presented such famous projects as Impact Hub Odessa, Enactus, Ukraine Without Waste, SIXA and shared experiences in social business.
2. Challenge of the teams-authors of business projects for the grand prize – participation in a business accelerator. Of the 12 projects submitted to the finals were only 7. Three projects-winners attended the certificates for participation in the business accelerator. The five more projects were admitted to the acceleration of the financial support team mentors and jury.
3. Creation of Sumy Business Community. Businesses have learned about the experience of this kind communities by the example of the Ivano-Frankivsk and Odessa, and developed a sketch of its mechanism functioning.
