In March 2017 the second (final) stage of the National competition of student scientific works in the field of “Economics of Transport and Communications” took place at Kharkov National Automobile and Highway University. The fifth-year student of the specialty “Project Management” Valeriya Bilenko won the nomination “Originality Subjects “.
Scientific research “Bicycle transport as an object of environmental marketing and innovation in urban transport” is devoted to topical issues of the development of cycling in the urban space. In the work based on the results of the studies, the priorities of cyclists were analyzed and ways of promoting cycling in the process of branding cities, improving management and conditions for organizing cycling in and between settlements were proposed.
The results of the work will be used by the commission on industry, energy, transport, communications, enterprise development of Sumy City Council to improve the efficiency of passenger transport in the regional center and improve the city’s infrastructure.
