Prokopenko O. (Dr of Science., prof., Head of the Department of Economic Theory) and Pimonenko T. (Ph.D., Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics and Business Administration) received the scholarship for training under the National scholarship program of the Slovak Republic. The program operates from 2015 and is designed to improve the exchange of students, graduate students, professors and scientists for training at Slovak universities and research institutes.
Thus, in the period from 23 February to 26 March 2017 the teachers were training at Matej Bel University.
As part of training, a series of meetings with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, and Heads of Departments
and teachers of the faculty were provided. At these meetings teachers presented SSU’s achievements and talked about possibilities for cooperation. It should be noted that colleagues from the University of Matej Bel were interested by motivational system at SSU.
Moreover, scientists got knowledge about the features of the educational process and the development of flexible curriculum. Throughout training, the scientists had access to the university’s library and the modern scientific databases. All these would be allowed to collect the necessary data to prepare a scientific publication. It should be noted the training, series of lectures, discussions were providing during staying, could highlight the areas of scientific interest for further cooperation.
