Practice training at Sita Starol

On September 30c 2016 the practice training of students Oleksandr Porosuik (Economics and Business-Administration Department) and Karina Altukhova (Technical Systems Department) was completed. During training Oleksandr was working at the Department of Logistics at “Sita Starol”. The last month of internship students with the professor from Silesia Polytechnic University Yan Cebula traveled to the laboratory of the University in Gliwice.

The professor showed to students the equipments of the modern laboratory. There students with him conducted the experiments related to the work of a biogas installation. More over, they visited the municipal waste land fill in Gliwice and listen to Pofessor’s lecture about the waste collecting, sorting, storing, processing, and standards that operate in the Republic of Poland on recycling.

Before the students went to the Ukraine they had visited an innovative sawmill in the small town Pshchyna in Silesia province. Owner of sawmill Yerzhy Byalas was conducting tour of the company and talking about the existing equipment. The peculiarity of the sawmill was a full energy independence. Thanks to the installation of equipment for processing wood waste company completely self-sufficient in electricity and heat.
After returning to Ukraine Olexander Porosiuk held a meeting with second year students of the Batsky Academic and scientific Institute of Finance, Economics and Managemant. During the meeting, Olexander was telling to younger colleagues about opportunities at Polish company’s “Sita Starol” and describing the cooperation between Sumy State University and Polish University “Politehnica Silesia.”
The students thanked to Professor Jan Cebula for organizing and supervising the practice training.
