Victory on All Fronts

On May 13-14, 2011 Sumy State University held II International students’ scientific and practical conference “Problems and prospects of development of business activity”. More than 60 students from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus participated in the conference. The student of the marketing department Scherbachenko Victoria Alexeevna took the II place in the section “Economic, financial and organizational problems of business activity” with the work “Improvement of theoretic-methodical approaches as to the management of intellectual capital at different levels” (scientific adviser – the Candidate of Economics, associate professor of the department of economic theory Shkola Victoria).

On May 18-19, 2011 Dnepropetrovsk University of Economics and Law held II virtual session of International Nobel economic forum “Intellectual potential of world development”. The prizes for awarded to the winners of the International contest of scientific works of young researchers and students in honor of 110 anniversary from the day of birth of Simon Kuznets (Nobel prize winner in Economics). This contest gathered more than 100 young researches and students from many higher educational establishments of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Poland and India. The best works of the contestants were presented on the subject “Generation of new knowledge: crisis of the science or reloading?” The student of marketing department of Sumy State University Scherbachenko Victoria Alexeevna obtained the Diploma of the 1st degree for the scientific work “The role of intellectual capital in the formation of innovative economic system” (scientific adviser – the Candidate of Economics, associate professor of the department of economic theory Shkola Victoria). She showed the presentation confirming the high level of the work and its importance.

The articles of the contest winners will be published in university’s editions – “Academic Review” and “European vector of economicv development”.
