For the first time the student of Sumy State University took the 1st place in All-Ukrainian contest of students’ scientific works in the direction “Rural economy and agro-industrial complex”. The victory for our university was gained by the student of the faculty of economics and management, undergraduate Sergey Marochko. The subject of his scientific work was “The management improvements of Ukrainian export-import operations by plant cultivation products for optimization of usage of branch competitive advantages”.
In whole, the contest committee considered 70 students’ scientific works from 33 Ukrainian higher educational establishments. As a result of the scientific and practical conference held at Dnepropetrovsk State University, Sergey Marochko was rewarded with the diploma of I degree.
Sergey Marochko considers that researches are important nowadays: “It enables to reveal better the inner market potential of our country and to overcome crisis financial-economic phenomena. Moreover, this work directly represents the range of my scientific interests and extends my knowledge”.
The scientific adviser of the winner, dean of the faculty of economics and management, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olga Prokopenko is proud of the result and considers the student’s work rather prospective not only from the viewpoint of science development, but also practical from the viewpoint of application of obtained results.
